Spanish Club

The Spanish Club has been very busy lately. On October 5th, they stocked the shelves at the Pleasant Plains Food Pantry. They are having lunch at Xochimilco on October 9th where they will order in Spanish. The Club also donated money to the Danielle Allen 5 k race and obtained a tree for her Memorial from Paul's Tree Farm. The Spanish Club will also be attending the Havana Cuba Dancers Show at UIS Sangamon Auditorium October 29. Congratulations to Sr. Ares and the Spanish Club on all their hard work!

Congratulations to the Class of 2016

To the Class of 2016, I want to thank you for your efforts and performance during your high school career.  Through your own resolve, personal growth, and support from family you have persevered to successfully complete this journey. I am sure that at times, the past four years have probably passed by too slowly as you have waited anxiously for graduation.  In reality, they have moved rather quickly. As you go forward I am certain you will put to use the skills you have acquired to take full advantage of the opportunities that arise in both college and career.

It is your time to grow, learn, contribute, serve, and enjoy life. Regardless of your grades, majors, colleges or career paths, don’t forget that attitude and effort will play as big a role as any in your future endeavors.  Thank you for all that you have done for our school, and I wish you the best of luck in the future.
